9th Valcellina Award - second part

      If you caught my Valcellina Award post from last week, this is the follow up with the award winners. In my opinion some of the awarded works were leaning more towards conceptual art than textile/fiber art, but that is, obviously, my opinion. The photographs are for the most part details, if you are interested in a particular piece I suggest you to research that particular artist.

      Personally I find some of the choices made by the judges discussible. Art as we all know is subjective.

IX Premio Valcellina - seconda parte

      Nell’articolo sul Premio Valcellina della settimana scorsa mi sono fermata alle opere premiate. E’ mia opinione che alcune opere sono più vicine all’arte concettuale che all’arte tessile, ma è solo la mia opinione. Le immagini sono in gran parte dei particolari, se magari vi interessa qualche opera vi consiglio di ricercare l’artista.

      Personalmente trovo alcune tra le scelte della giuria discutibili - l’arte, come ben si sa è soggettiva.
